Ons FairChain-verhaal begon in Limmu, Ethiopië. Deze specialty coffee uit de Kaffa-regio - de geboorteplaats van koffie - zit boordevol complexe aroma’s en smaken. Ze groeit op extreme hoogtes, wat resulteert in een florale explosie. Een frisse, volle koffie met een licht fruitige afdronk van jasmijn en cacao. We slowroasten deze koffie 27 minuten op 197 graden Celsius. Proef de floraliteit en citrusaroma’s!

MEET THE FARMERS
Moyee is in direct contact with more than 658 farmers who grow the cherries of the Single in Limu, Ethiopia. Coffee plants are at an altitude of more than 1,600 meters under the canopy of a natural coffee forest. From November until January, the ripe, red berries are picked by hand and processed at our own washing station.
MEET THE COFFEE ROASTERS
Moyee heeft zijn eigen branderij in Kenia gestart. Sommige batches van Dark worden gebrand en verpakt in Moyee's branderij en sommige batches worden gebrand bij Moyee's FairChain-partner African Coffee Roasters in Athi River, Kenia. Het bedrijf heeft 41 mensen in dienst. Op die manier blijft minstens vijftig procent van de waarde in deze koffie-regio.
