At the Social Impact Factory, coffee plays an important role. It's more than just a warm drink; it's a way to connect people. At various locations, a cup of coffee often serves as the first introduction to the work of the Social Impact Factory. For many participants, drinking coffee or tea is an essential moment of contact and connection. The mission is to fight for a fair world, where people and the planet are treated with respect.

Ons impactdoel? Boeren een leefbaar inkomen bieden. Op basis van ons benchmarkonderzoek hebben we vastgesteld wat nodig is om dit waar te maken. Jij speelt hierin een cruciale rol: door onze koffie te drinken, help je boerengezinnen uit de armoede te halen. Hoe geweldig is dat?!
Ons impactprogramma richt zich op koffieboeren die in extreme armoede leven, zodat zij een eerlijke kans krijgen op een beter leven.

Moyee Coffee heeft verschillende CO2 programma’s: we planten bomen, maken bio-compost en helpen boeren hun bossen duurzaam te beheren om de CO2 opslag te vergroten en de landbouwproductiviteit te verbeteren.

Dat zijn nu al 1.683.875 bakkies koffie! Wij hebben het voor je uitgerekend. Komende 5 jaar gaan we samen 15 miljoen bakkies van de Leger des Heils koffie drinken!
Waarom dit zo bijzonder is? Omdat door Leger des Heils koffie te drinken je ervoor zorgt dat de waarde van de bonen gelijk is verdeeld tussen koffielanden in Oost Afrika en koffiedrinkende landen: een 50/50 partnerschap. Ter vergelijking: als bonen in westerse landen worden gebrand, wordt er slechts 2% van de waarde toegevoegd in het land van oorsprong.
