OVER 108,000 TREES PLANTED & 4,000 TONS OF CO₂ CAPTURED

By 2030,

UN Member States have pledged to expand the world's forests by 3%. "Protection, sustainable management of forests are fundamental to security of humanity’s place on this planet," said President Peter Thomson of the UN Forum on Forests.

Not surprisingly, forests are the heart of every coffee ecosystem, which is precisely why forest protection and reforestizaton are critical to our FairChain movement.

In 2024, we planted 108,000 new coffee trees with the explicit intent to protect local biodiversity and soak carbon out of the atmosphere. These new trees kickstarted an ambitious FairChain agroforestry agenda with local farmers and leaders working on the ground together to boost incomes while healing the land.

To put numbers to it: our new forests suck almost 4,000 tons of CO₂ out of the atmosphere each year. There is no future of coffee without protecting the forests in whic they are grown. With every sip of Moyee Coffee you know you are helping reverse climate change.

Greener coffee isn’t just a trend, it’s the revolution the world right now needs.
