FERMENTATION AT ITS ABSOLUTE FINEST
This microlot from Embu, Kenya is an ode to precision and craftsmanship. Made from 100% SL28 Arabica, naturally processed and fermented for 72 hours (!), it delivers a stunningly clean and elegant cup — rare for a natural. Think: juicy pear, dried mango, with a silky-smooth texture.
FARMER - MBATURE FAMILIE
Kamavindi is more than a coffee farm — it’s a hub for growth, led by the third generation of the Mbature family. Through their Kushikamana program (“togetherness” in Swahili), they provide training, sustainable farming practices, and value creation to farmers in Embu and the surrounding regions. What’s shared here isn’t just knowledge, but also pride, community, and a future built on quality.
PROCESSING - FERMENTED
What truly makes this coffee exceptional is the controlled fermentation process: 72 hours in sealed tanks, followed by 30 days of slow drying under ideal conditions. This meticulous approach gives the coffee its signature clarity, depth, and balance. At Kamavindi, fermentation isn’t just a step in the process — it’s a craft: a pursuit of pure, expressive flavors in every bean.
PEAR, DRIED MANGO, SILKY SMOOTH
This coffee surprises with bright notes of pear and dried mango, a soft, almost creamy texture, and an elegant finish of raisins. What makes this microlot truly special is the exceptional clarity of the cup profile, rarely seen in natural process coffees, which often display overripe or winey tones. Here you taste fruit, finesse, and craftsmanship in perfect harmony.

We take our music as seriously as we do our beans.
