POWER TO THE WOMEN!
Meet Lydia and Tess:
This month we thought we’d hear from two of the most important women at Moyee’s roastery in Kenya – Lydia Nabulumbi, Head of Quality and Esther “Tess” Atieno our head barista in Kenya.

Lydia Nabulumbi
- Head of Quality, Moyee ROASTERY KENYA
“The challenges I see that women face is the lack of empowerment”
– Lydia Nabulumbi (Head of Quality)
My future plans involve focusing on the coffee industry in Kenya. Unfortunately, only a small number of people are aware that there are viable career paths within this industry. Therefore, my mission is to raise awareness and empower both women and young people to consider coffee as a potential career option.

Esther "Tess" Atieno
- Head Barista, MOYEE ROASTERY KENYA
“Women have played a vital role in the coffee industry”
– Esther “Tess” Atieno (Head Barista)
