Felix Ouma, our talented roaster at FairChain Coffee Kenya won the Kenya Barista Championships! For those in the know, Felix is the second Moyee FairChain barista to bring home this prestigious prize. In fact, Felix was trained by our very own two times Kenya Barista Champion and Q-Grader Tess.
Felix impressed the jury with his bold, creative approach to roasting. He has an obsession for crafting the perfect roast curve to unlock the perfect flavour in every bean.. And now he’s barista champion, sheesh! Felix will battle for the world title at the World Barista Championships in Milan this year, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Let’s just say we have quite the coffee quality dream team in Kenya.
