While our Triple and Dark blends have always been super-duper close to organic, we realized ‘super-duper’ was not close enough. So two years back we went the extra mile and worked with independent organic certification body EcoCert to ensure that our ENTIRE supply chain was certified organic. It's been quite the journey. We received our first organic certificate back in 2022, and we're excited to share that our coffee is yet again officially certified by EcoCert.
Of course, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond certification. For years, our coffee has been thriving in forest-shaded environments, nestled among plants like guava and banana trees, fostering biodiversity and nutrient-rich soil. We believe the future of coffee depends on protecting these forests and, wherever and whenever possible, planting new ones.
By working directly with farmers, we're able to provide training on sustainable farming practices, encouraging the avoidance of pesticides while promoting biocompost and forest preservation.
We believe every coffee brand has a duty to protect the forest, alas not all of them do it. We can say that by drinking our coffee you are helping us protect hundreds of acres of forests. Together, we're proving that maintaining healthy ecosystems and producing exceptional coffee go hand in hand.
