IMPACT HOTEL GROUP COFFEE

Impact achieved up to March 31, 2026

At the LBG Hotel Group, coffee plays an important role. It's more than just a warm drink; it's a way to connect people. At various locations, a cup of coffee often serves as the first introduction to the work of the LBG Hotel Group. For many participants, drinking coffee or tea is an essential moment of contact and connection. The mission is to fight for a fair world, where people and the planet are treated with respect.

Everything we do is based on facts.

Our impact goal? To provide farmers with a living income. Based on our benchmark research, we’ve identified what it takes to make that happen. And you play a crucial role: by drinking our coffee, you help lift farming families out of poverty. How amazing is that?!

Our impact program focuses on coffee farmers living in extreme poverty, giving them a fair chance at a better life.

It’s one of our best-kept secrets — but not for long: the coffee you’re drinking absorbs more CO2 than is emitted during its production. What?! Yes, really. This even includes the CO2 you generate while drinking your coffee!

Moyee Coffee runs several CO2 programs: we plant trees, produce bio-compost, and support farmers in sustainably managing their forests to boost carbon capture and improve agricultural productivity.

We’ve done the math for you. Over the next 5 years, we’ll be sharing 15 million cups of Salvation Army coffee together!

Why is this so special? Because by drinking Salvation Army coffee, you’re helping ensure that the value of the beans is shared equally between coffee-growing countries in East Africa and coffee-drinking countries: a true 50/50 partnership. For comparison: when beans are roasted in Western countries, only 2% of the value is added in the country of origin.
