Regular coffee leaves 10% of the value behind in the country of production. Moyee leaves 50% behind, farmed, roasted, and packaged in Ethiopia and Kenya. Not a claim, but a business model, and demonstrable in your ESG report.

B-Corp requires choices throughout the entire chain, including your sourcing. Moyee builds that chain itself: every kilo creates jobs, knowledge, and income in Ethiopia and Kenya. We paid a living wage and burned at the source as early as 2012, when no one was talking about it. Not a donation, but a revenue model. That is called Fairchain.
Regular coffee is roasted elsewhere, so that both the margin and the expertise remain with the wholesaler. At Moyee, everything happens in the country of production, and every kilo your team drinks removes 49 kg of CO₂ from the air. Not a footprint, but a handprint. We don't just tell you, we prove it: in figures you can include directly in your reports.

Specialty grade. Roasted in Ethiopia or Kenya.
Most specialty coffee brands charge a hefty markup. Moyee cuts out the middlemen; we roast at the source. That saving goes to the farmer and to you. Sometimes up to twice as cheap as comparable specialty brands.
Specialty coffee is the very highest quality coffee, produced with extreme care and attention from the plantation to your cup. Fully traceable and rated by certified experts (Q-graders) on a scale of 100 points.
Score 80+: The coffee must achieve at least 80 out of 100 points during a professional cupping according to the standards of the Specialty Coffee Association.
No defects: Specialty beans have no taste-ruining abnormalities, such as rotten or unripe beans.
Distinctive terroir: The unique character of the soil, the climate, and the altitude at which the coffee grows is clearly tasted in the cup.
Complete transparency: You know exactly where the coffee comes from, traceable to a specific cooperative, farmer, region, or even a micro-plot.
Arabica only: Specialty coffee always comes from the high-quality Arabica plant, known for its complexity of flavor.

WE ARE NOT JUST YOUR SUPPLIER; WE ARE YOUR PARTNER. IN OUR FAIRCHAIN MISSION TO LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND, WE CAN ONLY BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU ARE TOO.
FAIRCHAIN IS OUR BLUEPRINT FOR THE FUTURE OF COFFEE
FairChain is not a charity but a viable business model designed to leave more added value in the communities that grow our coffee. By roasting at origin, paying farmers living incomes and protecting their forests (and massively planting new ones), we have created a FairChain blueprint and invite others to follow. There’s only one huge downside to FairChain Coffee: brands like us earn less profit. Which is the reason Big Coffee multinationals and typical venture capitalists dislike us very much. It took us 12 years trying and failing and trying again, but now we can confidently say that FairChain is a very real blueprint for the future of coffee.
