Moyee is not much into the Storytelling. We believe in ambitious goals and quantifiable and verifiable evidence of impact. That’s what we call storyproving. Not because we do everything perfect, that’s why we call ourselves the least unfair coffee company, but because we believe that only radical transparency in what we want to achieve and what we have achieved can bring real change and forces us to shift our goals over and over again.
There is so much to do and our goal is simply redesigning the coffee industry. Building a business model that starts and ends with equality. 50/50 all the way!
So, we not only pay the farmer more (and prove it!), but we also shows what that means in relation to the required living income (see the global unique farmer dashboard that we developed).
If we say that 50% is left behind in the country of origin, we will show that. If we say we are roasting in the country of origin then we show that too, and we explain why not everything is roasted there yet.
Welcome to the FairChain world of Moyee. Radical E-quality. Radical Transparency.
Emely is one of the farmers we work with in Kenya.
In addition to paying the 20% FairChain premium, we invest over 1.5 Euro per kilo in training, digitalization and plantation of coffee plants to increase quality, yield and income for Emely, among others.
Without raising the price for you. This is just one part of our living income program.
By processing the coffee in the country of origin, they become less dependent on development aid.
We believe in the power of the crowd, that’s what we call crowdspeak.
By removing unnecessary middlemen, we deliver better coffees for lower prices. Everybody wins!
